The Nouvelle River cross its territory from the north west to the south east.
The harvesting and transformation of wood have given rise to several trucking companies. In order to respond to the current needs of the forestry products industry and support future industrial development, the Municipality has constructed a second 200, 000 US gallon reservoir, raising the total capacity of the drinking water reserve to 400,000 US gallons. This reserve meets fire insurance requirements, an advantage which should be considered in the selection of a place of business.

Moreover, businessmen and women can count on assistance and cooperation from the Municipality and various economic development organizations in implementing their plans.
